What is Virgin Mobile Broadband?
With Virgin Mobile Broadband you get a FREE USB modem that simply plugs into a USB port on your computer and connects to the 3G network wirelessly, making your broadband is as mobile as your mobile phone! With mobile broadband the connection is on the USB modem and is not directly related to one computer or location therefore you can take your mobile broadband with you anywhere, be that on holiday or even to your gran's house!
Virgin Broadband has No Excess Usage Charges*
If you download more than your usage allowance in one month you won't get hit with excess charge like some other broadband providers will. If you exceed your download limit, your download speed will be reduced for the remainder of that month. The reduced speed on mobile broadband is 128kbps and 64kbps on home broadband. It is fair to say that most users won't get to this point anyway, because you get a LOT of downloads but you won't be charged excess usage fees for exceeding your download limit.
